Thanks, Cashmere and Nilly. Sophie is awesome, even though I had to borrow a dollar from a stranger in order to finish washing her outside. And I had to go to five different hardware stores before I managed to get a new key. And I only got two tires, since they only had three that would fit my car on hand.

I just had to email someone to ask them to click on a link so I could get my email address approved so someone else could get my mail thru the earthlink spam filter. I can't get to the link myself through our web filter.

I'm not mad at the software--I'm mad at the fact the software's actually useful.

Well, we were not telling all the stories about people who got the everliving crap beaten out of them and were fine (neurologically) the next day. Which does happen all the time --as your kravvy friends are wont to know. It's just, the dramatic ones where somebody almost died are the ones that get written up in the New Yorker.

My feeling is more prompted by the fact that the two last times I was hit hard on the head they had nothing to do with anything. No big traumatic incident, no third (or second!) parties. One faint, one slip, and I'm a severe concussion and minor black eye bearer.

I watched a guy in my test get whacked in the back of the head with a stick, be too woozy to stand properly for half an hour, resume testing, and wake up the next morning with a mild post-concussive syndrome.
