Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Not reading the head trauma posts/links.

Balthazar Getty looks like some bastard lovechild of Patrick Swayze and Corey Feldman. (Or Corey Haim -- whichever one was in The Goonies.)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aimee, you have too much Corey knowledge. That frightens me.

I've been looking at the job openings at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute again. It's been that kind of (avoidant, escapist) day.

Calling Sue, there's one for an Archivist, but they want you to have a science background or undergrad degree.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute

That's one of my dream employment places. Surely they need a publications manager. One who is extremely geek friendly. And boat friendly. And Kerry friendly. And, well, they just need to call me, damnit.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I've been looking at the job openings at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute again. It's been that kind of (avoidant, escapist) day.

I've been avoiding and escaping by looking at library schools. Again. But this year, I've told people I'm actually planning to do it, so it may have to happen.

(also, car hunting, but that's something that makes me want to avoid and escape)
