The fandom exploded? Do tell? Also--wasn't there a Lost shoutout too? On the cookie fortune she tapes up at the end?

The whole creating-a-person thing freaks me out sometimes, just thinking about it -- I can't imagine actually doing it!!
It's all very bizarre and surreal. Even years later. I look at Owen and it freaks me out (in a good way) thinking I helped make a person. I'm curious if that feeling ever goes away.

I bet it never fully goes away. I mean, if it's anything like the holy-crap-I'm-a-grownup feeling, it doesn't. Not that I think that every day, but every so often it hits me weird.
Yes, ita, there was.
I only know of the explosion, rather than witnessing it.
There's a lot of strong feelings about Duncan (many in relation to other strong feelings about Logan), and a lot of people were upset by 1)him leaving 2)How he left 3) The 'true love' bit of the fortune cookie, some combination of the above, etc. All of which, IMO, are exacerbated by...other problems with the episode.
I know that P-C and Cindy know more than I do. After some of the similar kerffucalypses in the Buffyverse, I try to steer clear entirely.
Jesse! I was just talking about you last night. One of my roommates had a non-religious guest, who was confused about some of the religious stuff that come along with meals (washing hands with a blessing before eating bread, for example, but not before other foods). So I bragged about you and how, after a couple of days of trips in NYC with me, you were totally on top of all these rules.
Cashmere, he's both arodable and gorgeous at the same time! Those eyes! There are two people currently in this room with me, and both of them got up from their computers to take a better look at the picture on my screen.

I can't get over how it seems to contradict the mas and energy conservation rules that the universe seems to be controlled by. Nothing comes out of thin air, yet one minute there wasn't a person, and then there is, a whole complete person, right there, and how could it be created out of nothing?
Ah, I see. I thought (hoped?) it was a shoutout related kerfuffle. I didn't like the ep myself, but I'm not a fan of the show so much anyway.

Heh. Only because I asked about every single thing every single time, so I appreciate your patience.
OK, I need to get out of the house.
Timelies. Matt landed safe in NY - got to the hospital just before his mom went into surgery ( they may have found the source of the infection) he sounds fairly good and happy that he made the trip . This may be because he was able to rent a VUE - so it is like driving his own car. I am sure there will be some family drama later, but fornow - things are good. I am vaguely jealous because he will be going to a real diner.

You're kidding, right? It was absolutely fascinating for me to see these things through somebody else's eyes. I appreciated the attention, and was only worried that it would burden the people around me, not the other way around!
beth, my thoughts are with you, Matt and his family.
Owen's now talking in sort-of sentences, including, "Ready, set, go!"
Apparently my kids have watched too much British produced programming, they say "Ready, steady, go!"
Also, Hi Nilly!
