Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I just watched the most dumbass queen evah confront larry mcmurty about the meaning of wuv.

Come on, you all wanna touch me now. the only thing that would have made it more surreal is if McMurty was juggling geese at the time.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Everyone dies alone. This cheery message was brought to you by the League of Evil Posters.

Wow, Gus. I know you've moved into the bitter, harsh cynical place. But to post that after someone posts that it hit close to home, especially at a time when a slew of people have been posting about losses to their families. That just seems really insensitive in the best of circumstances and cruel in the worst.

the only thing that would have made it more surreal is if McMurty was juggling geese at the time.

or pesto chicken sausages on baguettes might have worked. I dig that McMurtry, as a result of his years and his writing, gets to be terse man. Diana Ossana is actually more lovely in person than she appeared at the Golden Globes.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I think Gus was responding to Trudy. I could be wrong.

Hmm... I guess since his posts follows this one msbelle "Natter 42, the Universe, and Everything" Jan 30, 2006 6:38:44 pm PST and is roughly addressing something that happens on the GA that msbelle is talking about, I assumed that it was about that.

And given ita's response here: ita "Natter 42, the Universe, and Everything" Jan 30, 2006 9:21:50 pm PST I don't think I'm the only one who read it that way.

I didn't watch GA so I read it as a response to the post before msbelle's that ends with "so alone." Like I said, I could be wrong. You aren't the only who read it that way.

And skimming back I see that he does mention watching GA, so I will refrain from any further attempt to interpret Gus.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I bought a car!!!!!! She's pretty and she's MINE!!!!!! Her name is Sophie. I've already taken her shopping. I bought her wipes, new windshield wipers, and a couple of other little toys. Tomorrow we're going to buy her some new tires, and take her for some beauty treatments. She's going to get the little issues she's been having with some of those little lights in front healed, and maybe get the slight bend in the front bumper thing bent back into place, and she's definitely going to get a thorough bath and wax. I have also ordered her some pretty Disney accessories off of the internet, but she's going to have to be a little patient on those, as they come in the mail. I will most likely be making a few phone calls about getting her a keyless entry installed, as well, as it looks like that isn't as expensive as it could be. We will also buy some gas, most likely.

On Wednesday we will buy her some insurance, and we will see about repairing the slightly odd thing her radio does (if you turn it down quickly, the volume will punch up to blasting in a startling way). And I will continue to consider fixing the little minor paint issues she has.

Sophie is awesome. She's so pretty! And she's mine!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!

Ali! Yay you! Congratulations!

There's a word in Hebrew that one uses to congratulate somebody who got something new. There's no English equivalent, so I can't share it properly with you, but that's what I want to say right now!

Um, if I were here. Which I'm not. Since I'm still grading. I've only read "Beep Me" and came here to skip so that it wouldn't look like I'm skipping a 1000 posts all at once, only a couple of hundreds. Not that it's strange to do this or anything.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I just watched the most dumbass queen evah confront larry mcmurty about the meaning of wuv.

Allyson gets to have all the fun.

ita, I haven't yet congratulated you on being brown-belted. Yay, you!

I bought a car!!!!!! She's pretty and she's MINE!!!!!!

Congratulations Alibelle! I'm still enjoying the New Car Smell myself. I feel like a bad new car owner since I haven't named the minivan or gotten any cool toys for it yet.

Cashmere!

This is Nilly's keyboard, all bored because that annoying girl doesn't play with me lately, using hte lame excuse that she has to use her hands in order to write stuff on a bunch of papers. Anyway, how are you doing? Are you tired of answering questions like "how are you doing?", that people probably ask you all the time, considering how near you are to completing your pregnancy? (I'm a very smart keyboard, to know all that stuff. That silly Nilly girl doesn't know what she's missing.)
