YAY Allyson! You should jus sit and chill.
I woke up 1 minute before my 6:00 AM alarm and I woke myself and Lori and we went to yoga. Where we had to do armstands. Now don't get me wrong, I can rock a handstand like nobody's business and I'm awesome at headstands (seriously. super good can go up and down with control. thing of beauty). Armstands? I just sort of go up and crash down into my default headstand instead. Lori on the other hand can ROCK armstands.
who knew?
Well, it should have been obvious. She has way more upper body strength than I do.

Go you! Regardless of the various-body-limbs-stands that you can or can't do, because I have no idea what they mean and therefore can't comment on them.
I am falling back into lazy morning staying in bedness. Bad news. Must must must go to bed earlier and get up earlier. A big email went around about getting into to work on time. Bah.
Kat, what's the difference between an armstand and a handstand?
Well, if Suela doesn't know what they are, then I feel a little less of a complete ignorat.
msbelle, happy second-day-of-your-new-age! May this year, um, what didn't anybody wish for you yet? May it have lots of waking-ups right when you want and not later, or something.
The 'armstand's we do at my yoga practice are more like forearmstands. Think of your hands laid flat on the floor, forearms likewise.
(I don't actually DO them, I just practice the leadup to them, which is called dolphin pose.)
Ah, okay: I can picture that.
My upper body strength sucks ASS. Ah, well. I'll be training again..eventually.
Allyson, do the minimum cleaning, and relax a bit more.
Nilly and Suela, armstand. Handstand and Headstand.
An article mentions that it's not armstrength but stability and flexibility in the shoulders which is where I'm both weakest and tightest in my whole body.
Which explains why I can't do it.
Thanks, Theo. [Edit: and Kat!]
I've tried to image-Google, but it didn't make the diffrentiation between hand- and arm- stands. Apparently, Google doesn't do yoga.
Do you think we should introduce it to Rio? If it's Google itself, does it need any sort of introduction to anything? I mean, it's Google, so it knows of yoga, it just doesn't do it, right?
These questions brought to you by "hmm, now that I think about it, I really didn't get to grab anything for lunch today, and I should really do something about it".
