Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But what is it, tommyrot? What are we seeing? Fire? Plasma? Starfire?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Plasma.

At least I'm pretty sure that's what it is.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Allyson, I recommend putting out the trash and ordering takeout and sitting around with champagne and dvds. Go you! I'm so pleased for you.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Trash, and enough laundry so that you have clean clothes for Tues-Friday? Then DVDs!

This is a not-bad plan for my own afternoon, come to think of it.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

A Dog Man Gets a Cat

I have this book by the same author sitting on my to-be-read pile, a Christmas gift from Emmett's mom. I've poked through the introduction and the first few paragraphs of the first chapter, and it looks marvelous.

Congratulations, Allyson! Also? So not surprised.

And belated happy birthday to the pinkest and elegantest of us all.

Perkins, we should plan for another day of visiting and apartment-up-fixing, me and my drill and you and your bare windows and un-hung curtains and ginormous cats, and possibly a movie or three.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Holy crap. Those atomic explosion pictures are unbelievable.

This is the first day in a week where I don't have a deadline hanging over my head

Allyson! I've skipped - does that mean you're all done? Can I un-cross my numb fingers now?

Also, I vote for what Suela and Theo offered. You deserve spoiling yourself after all the hard work.

I have this book by the same author

That link takes you to Amazon, where they have the usual picture of the book with their "Search Inside!" graphic sitting right above. Except the big arrow in the "Search Inside!" graphic points right at a sheep.

OK, maybe I'm weird.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

YAY Allyson! You should jus sit and chill.

I woke up 1 minute before my 6:00 AM alarm and I woke myself and Lori and we went to yoga. Where we had to do armstands. Now don't get me wrong, I can rock a handstand like nobody's business and I'm awesome at headstands (seriously. super good can go up and down with control. thing of beauty). Armstands? I just sort of go up and crash down into my default headstand instead. Lori on the other hand can ROCK armstands.

who knew?

Well, it should have been obvious. She has way more upper body strength than I do.

Go you! Regardless of the various-body-limbs-stands that you can or can't do, because I have no idea what they mean and therefore can't comment on them.
