Kittenish is dreaming. Her front paws are all twitching.

Oh, and puppycat or meerkat? You be the judge. [link]

In uncat news, actually I've got nothing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am sooo sending you cat toys, Aurelia. Be prepared.

Want me to send you some too, Cass?

They will love you forever.

Funny thing about the picture I linked above is that she was "standing" like that for several minutes. Haven't a clue why...

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

That is quite the meerkat pose.

All fuzzy stuff, right? I'll keep the dust buster charged. That toy that came with the door hanger got pulled down in a matter of hours (and ended up under the bed). I hung it without the door hanger part and it's stayed in position nicely. I hear it getting batted around quite often.

Cass, send me your address, unless you want me to wait until after you move.

I have some non-fuzzy toys Aurelia. I may not send them, but I have them.

I had a (Jilli font) spider that was made out of rabbit fur, kinda high-class pipe cleaners for legs and hung from the door. It was disassembled in about an hour. First the spider came off of the elastic and then the legs were removed. The fur was torn into a few pieces. They, three cats and three moves later, are still a prized toy. Puppycat will leap onto the bed, spit it out and then wait for me to tell her she was a good girl and caught the fur.

I don't understand cats.

I do understand computers. And mine is getting quite the health check right now.

Insent Lee.

No need to wait until I move. Frankly there is so much crap here that I have to organize, weed through and pack that some cat toys won't even blip the radar. And it will be good for them to have something familiar in a new home.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The match is a new one. Everything else , I've tried. Yes, even goggles. Nothing works, I'm just painfully sensitive to them. I often can't even be in the same room when someone else is chopping them.

sarameg, I react similarly and the match (make sure its a sulphur tipped one -- the kind in a box) is the only thing that works for me. You can get a little drooly because you can't close your mouth all the way because its pinched in your teeth and you can't get the tip wet, but a little drool is better than the half hour of tears and the red face

The BEST thing that works for me is buying onions already chopped in the freezer section. it's blissful.

heh

Tie line has been one of the best toys so far and that just comes home in my pocket sometimes. I can roll one end between my fingers and make the other end dance around. They love that.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've been buying dehydrated minced onion from Whole Foods for my recipes that call for onion, with pretty good results. I use it in the Ostrich Helper, for instance.

Speaking of cats, Chumley just jumped up on the sofa and knocked over a cup -- luckily it only had a little water in it, and the splash didn't reach the laptop which was in my lap. Chumley is a cat of far more heart than sense.
