Big stop just to renew your license to companion. Can I use companion as a verb?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oooh, I'm all about the Keens, too.

I had something else to say, but I dunno what now. I'm all sinusy and way behind schedule. I would be on schedule if I had a holiday tomorrow, but I don't. We forgot when it was when we scheduled the location, and we called them up when we remembered to see if they were going to be open. They said they were opening up (early! on a holiday!) because we were coming in. So not only do I not get a three day weekend, but I caused four other people to not get a three day weekend either. Bollocks.

Oh, well.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

What did I miss in the first 15-20 minutes of 24?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think it all got recapped later on, aurelia--mostly they showed the cool president get assassinated, a car bomb toast the chick (my memory has left me) and Soul Patch caught in a secondary blast. Jack is now Frank, and happy with a woman whose son isn't happy with him. Oh, and Chloe is having the hot sex.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Happy birthday msbelle! (I have over 20 minutes still in my timezone, it's still a valid wish.)

Picture someone in a sombrero singing happy birthday to you right now. My gift is that I didn't make that a reality.
Kat is now my favorite.

I admit, I come from a bias where the content of astro 101 was something I knew at an alarmingly early age. Comes from keeping your dad company in the "why" stage while he's observing.
One of my bigger regrets in my divorce is that the nephlet wouldn't get to keep growing up around DxH. The things would follow a little kid saying, "Yeah, but why?" were pretty amazing. Oh, and they "recharged" the moon with flashlights sometimes. That must have been before the conversation as to why the moon *actually* glows.

I am skipping every single bit of wf because they are all shows I watch and yet shows that I haven't watched tonight cause of the mom (being here) thing.

But tomorrow I whale watch on a big sailboat and that should be pretty damn good.

Thanks, ita. I was catching up on Lost and forgot I was supposed to be recording. I wonder what I recorded last Sun/Mon when I thought the season premiere was happening.

I've been watching the same play over and over for the past 8 days. It's really odd to be working with someone who's face is plastered on banners all along the street and then come home and flip past a TV show starring his wife.

Sounds like being stalked. But with a great deal more subtlety than your average stalker given that their wives won't get shows just to further their spouse's stalking career.

Gronk. Bedtime.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Gah. It's Monday. How did that happen?

Also, I don't have today off. That always annoys me.

information libertarian

I am working today but getting paid 2.5 time, which I feel honors Dr. King. After all, he was in favor of a living wage.

Unfortunately, I was gone for 3 days and everybody fell apart without me. Happily nobody is here today so I can put them back together in peace, and we can be as normal tomorrow.

Now I'm imagining flea sewing, knitting and crocheting people back to un-torn forms. But not like what they did with puppet-Angel, more crafts-like and in more colors to the faces, too.

Um, I mean, hello not-so-new thread!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I do have today off, which is why I'm still in my pajamas. Today will be spent watching tapes and DVDs.
