ita, peppermint tea (or water with peppermint extract in it) usually works for me. But I think peppermint is a road trip to migraines for you.

It is done. I will claim Gus as my inspiration.
Yay, Kat! How are you?
I'm great, kat, thanks for asking. how are you doing? how's your family?
Vomitorium!
They've injected long-acting painkillers into my nerves.
That sounds like an excellent thing. Hooray for killing pain.
I finally saw the US Cash Cab -- good fucking times. It makes me want to take cabs more, just in case.
how are you doing? how's your family?
I am good. My job is trying to kill me with the crazy. Did you know 9 out of 10 graduate education department faculty members are completely bonkers? And it's only heightend when going through NCATE accreditation. I did not know this, but I do now. So sad.
The family is good. My folks are turning into traveling machines. I think they are trying to cover all of the Southwest. By the end of this week.
How are you and Lori?
US Cash Cab
What? The only thing I ever get from a cab ride is the remnants of funky feet.
Cash Cab is a game show of a guy driving a cab, and the people who hail him are the contestants! You answer questions for money until you get where you're going, or you get three strikes, whichever comes first.
Did you know 9 out of 10 graduate education department faculty members are completely bonkers?
Well. yeah. I did know that. And, as a matter of fact, it was motivating factor in dropping out of the GSE. But, you know.
Lori is swamped with work and I'm off this month and next. So I'm feeling AWESOME.
Right now, am freezing.
Where does cash cab air?
OMG! So much fun! How does one get on this show? Just random dumb luck? How much can you win? Are the questions closer to Jeopardy or Supermarket Sweep?
You know, I didn't mind the bonkers as a student, because then it was quaint and quirky and I only had to see them for 3 hours a week or so. But working in close quarters with the crazy is not so quaintly quirky.
ION, we love vacation. I forgot you were at a year round school, since they don't do that so much in NYC. What are you planning to do with yourself?
