I don't fancy spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I just finished watching A Week of Dressing Dangerously and, I really loved the yellow outfit. The little girl (was that her niece?) was very wise. I have a few questions: Do they do more outfits than they show (a full week's worth), and just not show them all? I was wondering if that outfit at the end was one she wore and they didn't show. If not, what outfit did she choose to keep?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ooh, here's where I need to ask. I need a good girl-robot name for my new baby (and the start of my robot army). Isn't she lovely?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Aww, Brenda, what a beautiful girl!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I, for one, do not want to keep a sex diary for a psychologist.

In my case, it would require very little paper.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd have no problem with it, really. I'm either not sure why I would, or why other people would mind. It's still early. Did I cover the no sleep thingummy?

I imagine feeling sexually attractive and/or loved does a lot to make a person feel good enough to face their fears and stuff, but...

But does penetrative sex make you feel more attractive or loved than other sorts?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Knitted power cord: [link]

This black knitted electrical cord can be worn as a decorative skinny scarf, or even a decorative belt. Use it to pull back your curtains or replace that boring old tie. Wrap it around a gift, or wrap it around your wrist. Whatever you choose to do, let your imagination lead the way!

I'm beginning to suspect that some people who knit are weird....

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Hmm. Even if the observation is good, that shows correlation, not causation. Maybe lower levels of stress lead to more penetrative sex? Actually, that makes a fair amount of sense.

How? I mean, "I'm nervous about talking in public, can I put your dick into my mouth" doesn't seem quite intuitive. Or "4 + 4 = 7. Ah, dammit, that's not right, and please keep your penis away from my vagina!"

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

No, the idea is that a lower level of stress in general might lead to both more ease in public speaking and more interest in penetrative sex.

I'm not sure I buy it, and I'm also not sure what would be the point of it if true, but the problem with the headline (and the news's generally sloppy handling of it) is the assumption of causation.

But I still don't get the idea of penetrative sex being linked in that direction to lower stress. Why would it be? More than the other way round?
