The "no alcohol" thing is to avoid kidney and liver damage. There has been some increases in such recently with the OTC medication use of acetaminophen and ibuprofen.
To be safe, I would not drink more than 1 drink an even while you are on ibuprofen. Eat plenty of food and drink water also.
