A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I actually thought of going to Tristan and Isolde.

Oh no! Sue, please tell me you've rethought this.

Coding and Sleeping

I actually thought of going to Tristan and Isolde.

From what I've heard you could just bang your head into the wall for two hours and save the $6 plus bus fare.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I wonder if I could make Pat Robertson's head actually explode if I followed up on my impulse to sell a sitcom to the networks where Teenage Jesus and his entouragedisciples have wacky adventures. Dude, Where's My Camel?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I saw Underworld last night in the most ghetto movie theater I've been to in a long time, especially considering the fairly nice neighborhood it's in. There were like 10 little kids in there with us, and a fist fight nearly broke out.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The original one, or Evolution?

I have been restored to sanity. A empty matinee will have to wait until next day off.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Finally got around to seeing Brokeback Mountain yesterday. While it didn't emotionally sucker-punched me as it did some other people, I thought it was a beautifully made film with some exceptional performances. What got to me the most, above and beyond the love story, was the tragedy of 'life unlived', especially for Ennis. The trailer scenes with Alma Jr. were heartbreaking--Alma saying that Ennis needs more furniture, and Ennis replying jokingly that since he has nothing, he needs nothing. And the scene at Jack's parents' house... GAH. I was so very glad that Ennis decided to maintain a scrap of human connection and go to Alma's wedding at the end. Without that, the movie would have been too bleak for me, I think.

The actresses playing the wives were great, too. I thought Anne Hathaway was particularly fine in that scene where she reveals Jack's death to Ennis over the phone. I knew Michelle Williams could act, but what I'd seen of Hathaway thus far hadn't led me to expect she had that kind of subtlety in her.

Art Crawl!!!

Umm, found an episode guide and it looks like this week's episode was the Season 2 opener -- so people disappear with no explanation and I guess that's just it.
