I can guarantee I was not the one who was supposed to share the information. I'm the temp!
Temps should get automatic neutrality in office kerfluffles. Sort of like an underpaid Switzerland.

I'm actually a well-paid temp, but yet? Still not the person responsible for transmitting information between two department heads, one of whom said she would talk to the other one.
They want to bring it? It's already been broughten.

Oh, cool.
When I temped I was fairly underpaid. But the person paying for me constantly bitched about my paycheck. Turns out she was bitching about what she paid to my temp agency, which was about three times what I was making. Hmmmmmm. 15 years later and I'm still a tad bitter. Go figure.

That's the temp market for you. Still, it seems like really bad form to bitch to any kind of employee about having to pay them -- and why do I suspect that she was the type who constantly reminded her children of how expensive they were to raise?
Ooh, that's so tacky, Calli! I'm actually a consultant, and the org is paying me directly, so I'm sure I'm getting more in my paycheck and they are paying less for me than for the actual through-an-agency temp who's doing the same work I am. (Maternity leave + busy time.)
My boss, who makes a lot more than me, obviously, is always bitching to me about her low salary. People! Welcome to the Tact Factory! We don't complain about our diamond shoes in front of the one-legged woman with no root!
Har, flea.
Ain't nuthin as funny as a woman with root.
Welcome to the Tact Factory!
Hee!
Info on a bipedal goat. Unfortunatly, no photos, but there are diagrams of bone structure. [link]
West-Eberhard discusses another particularly instructive paper, some observations made by Slijper in the 1940's on a bipedal goat. This poor beast was born with missing forelimbs. Surprisingly, it lived for a year before it died in an accident (presumably unrelated to its deformities), and adapted in unexpected ways. It could hop around on its two hind legs, and developed additional peculiarities: enlarged hind limbs, a curved spine, and large neck.
