not for nothing but even joking about fan clubs for fitness instructors strikes me as more than a little odd. If they are actually real, I find that totally weird.
I can not imagine even mentioning the concept to my or about my past instructors (krav, yoga, or whatever).

I doubt they have actual membership fees or newsletters, or anything, but the two other female instructors we were talking about have passels of guys who get slack jawed and dopey when discussing the instructor in question. Or when talking to her. It's quite funny to deliberately provoke that reaction.
