Gud-- I can only echo everyone's advice. It mnay be hard to believe now, but there is a better life waiting for you. The weight of constantly failing someone's expectations is heavier than you will ever know while you are living under it, and once the painful process of getting free of it is over you WILL feel better.

My college roommate and close friend got divorced last year. Fifteen year marriage with four kids aged from 6 to 14. It was devastating to him, and an extremely difficult transition.

But he said the first time he came home to his house with just his kids and no longer had to face his wife, it was just a massive, massive relief. And he's actually doing well now.

And I'm another example of getting to a better place after a divorce. I cannot recommend the experience, but it's possible. Don't despair.
