ION, "Down with Love" is on A&E -- I've never seen it before -- and despite how yummy Ewan is, and how funny David Hyde Pierce is, it's really a BAD movie.

I'd heard that which makes me sad because, yummy Ewan.

It's SO bad. Of course, that hasn't stopped me from watching it, because it's on cable and it's not like I paid for a movie ticket, and Ewan is yummy.

But man, I really REALLY dislike Renee Zellwiger.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

As much as I love GWD, I often wonder how the series would have turned out with Rick Springfield.
It would have been such a different show with RS. I might have loved it too, but I saw the GWD before I saw the pilot/miniseries/one that came before, so it just seems kinda wrong to me. RS is Dr. Noah Drake. GWD is Det. Nick Knight. And so it shall be to me .

You are not your marriage, Gud. There's no doubt that this is a horrible thing to go through, but a failed marriage doesn't make a failed Gud.
This is very true. You are going through something incredibly difficult right now and no matter how it turns out, you and your marriage are seperate entities, just intertwined ones right now. And you have been doing everything possible and even more from everything I have ever seen. ((Gud))

I know, I should be happy for the refund that will be coming considering how painful bill paying was this month, but still. I want to crawl in a hole for the balance of the weekend.
Yeah, it's not really the shiniest silver lining for you right now.

but my back is so damn tight, that I'm wondering if the pain would be worth it.
They can work out the tightness like nothing else, but they are not fluffy bunny relax-y massages. FWIW.

I am leaning toward a 75 minute deep tissue massage and a food therapy treatment (feet are moisturized, conditioned with steam towels, and then massaged with 100% shea butter).
Though this sounds like heaven to me.

Still, sister unhappy! Must go see her!
I missed this sister gene and right now, I miss it. This is a lovely thought.

Always Anti-fascist!

I liked RZ better before all the magazines were like "She's so hot." and I'd look again and be like "Nuh uh." Every Bitch in here is hotter than that chick, and, Plei, we'd have to give Plei a bad haircut or a skin condition as a handicap before they even met up, or Miss Hollywood would get her butt kicked.

Okay, too much sugar (damn your sticky allure, baklava!!!) makes for a distinctly rotten-feeling Teppy. Will I never learn?

Not so long as the baklava beckons. Well, I haven't.

RZ? She didn't used to inspire the "Fleeeeeee!" response in me but damn she does now. Scary on about a hundred levels and unwatchable in movies.

I guess I could have some cucumbers.

Massage and foot therapy appointment has been made for Sunday morning. I did go for the deep tissue and I will tell them it is my first time. I don't want a fluffy spa massage, I gotta get rid of this tightness or I'm going to end up in even more pain.

Tomorrow afternoon I'm escorting a pack of teenagers to the ice rink again. I don't think I'm going to skate this time, just watch them be silly goofs. If any Bay Area-istas wanna join us, I might consider skating...

Excellent choice. Drink lots and lots and ohmigodthatisalot of water. And a hot bath afterward can ward off aching the next day also.

Good suggestions Cass. Not sure if I'll be able to fit the hot bath in between the massage and skating, but if I can I will. Too bad we have our hot tub off...that would be heavenly.
