Stephanie - I vote for mailing it. If you have it ready, already, that is. Send it, expecting it to be trashed. Then you can be pleasantly surprised when the call and say "where have you been all our lives"...

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I just created a livejournal for T (kozykat1, if anyone wants to friend her), and I am going to set up an IM account for her tonight when I see her. We're going out to spend a store credit I have. I am also taking the elder nephew out to dinner and a movie tomorrow. Must not cry. Must not cry. Must not cry.
Why not? It's natural enough. Of course, as Frank McCourt says, your bladder could move near your eye. I know...you want to be happy for them. Not sad for you.
Cry, sj. You're sad.
I have been, when I am at home, but I really don't feel I can cry in front of my nephew right now. He has had to deal with a lot of changes over the past year (new baby brother (who needed heart surgery), new school because his closed down. He is a sensitive kid, and I don't want to make this harder for him.
I know...you want to be happy for them.
Also, this. Tal is very excited and nervous. I don't want to make her feel guilty. So instead, we are going to see if we can find her new dishes on sale tonight.

Even Alton Brown has days when something he cooks makes him think, "What WAS I thinking?"
In fact, the more I think about it, the more likely I think it that he went in search of information about the hows and whys of what works in the kitchen, thus bringing us his lovely show, because of one or more huge goofs.
Grrr, argh. A co-worker was doing a powerpoint presentation (!) to introduce herself to her and my new team. She asked me if I wanted a slide, and I said no, I'm not really a PowerPoint person, I prefer to talk face-to-face.
End result? She made a six-page PP presentation, including one page of her suggested documentation improvements, which left me precisely one minute to give my talk.
That's what you get for not adhering to her API, Betsy.
edit: I'm so afraid of being misinterpreted that I usually use winkys, but I gather that Buffistas loathe them.

I work for a software company. I would expect to lose considerable face if I presented myself via PowerPoint.
