Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

With an oink-oink here and an oink-oink there?

An oink-oink everywhere for the more adventurous of the pork set.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

They pork, I believe.

"Nice shoes, wanna fuck?" translates over this side of the pond into: "Nice shoes, fancy a shag?" Or at least, the latter was in use during my University days. Along with "Get your coat, love, you've pulled."

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

"Get your coat, love, you've pulled."

"Get your coat, love, you've pulled."

Hmm.... "pulled" isn't translating for me. Can you Americanize that one? Fay? ita? Anybody?

pull v : pick up, chat up, “he’s going to pull a girl at the party”, “going on the pull”, also to snog.

Pulled -- it used to mean 'succeeded in an attempt to seduce'. Ish. Now, for the younger generation, it means kissing. For example "I pulled three different blokes last night." I use that example because a thirteen year old on the bus yesterday was saying it to a friend of hers.

nods

Thus one goes out "on the pull". I think it pretty much works in place of "scoring", if I understand the American parlance?

thinks

Or we also used to call it "sharking" when I was at Uni, which I always thought was a rather apt image. Don't know that that's in common usage, though.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

My favorite twist on the pick-up line was in Homicide...Stan Bolander meets the Aussie medical examiner and says "What's a nice girl like you doing in a place like this?" And she pauses over a dead guy and says "Looking for Mr. Right."
