Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm not going to say that there are people who don't need it, but, well, I just want to try it, for like a month or so. See how it feels.

Everyone would like it, but some people need it. It's like case management -- whenever I hear that some people get someone to take care of their doctors' appointments, and make sure they get there, and negotiate with landlords and whatever, I think how great that would be, but of course I can actually deal with that stuff myself, unlike the kinds of people who get those services through government contracts.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Damn it, ita, we need to get you a live-in minion of some sort. A cabana boy with medical training preferred.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am all about the cabana minion.

The Doonesburys that would have been, had Miers not dropped out.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Have to join in on all the yikeses, ita. Be safe.

My internets were acting funky. I was pulling only 226k/s instead of the 4mb/s I normally do, but resetting the cable modem seems to have fixed it.

The Doonesburys that would have been, had Miers not dropped out.

Heh. I love "What most qualifies you to be a Justice of the Supreme Court?" "My friendship with the bestest President ever!"

If only it had been spelled "evah" it would have been absolutely perfect.

Sorry, I 'm going to be fretting about you, ita. this has not been a good run for you.

and house concerts charge money. that's how they work the owner sets up the space and often provides snacks and soft drinks. and the musician gets most of the $$. In our cas the home owner might take some money for snack reimbursment . See Press.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

ita, there would be no harm in telling the neurologist's office what happened and asking them to call you if you have a cancellation.

or have someone else do it who can sound grave and menacing

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

ita, could it be meds related? I passed out and fell out of a chair onto the floor from Benadryl plus Imitrex once. And Imitrex alone on an empty stomach usually gives me 20 minutes of wooziness and dizziness.

OK, you're allowed to bounce off other people's fists and elbows and whatnot, but not file cabinets. They do not have your best interests at heart.

Anybody know why BGE sent me a check for $22.40? Because I checked, and I haven't accidentally overpaid at any point. I guess they fucked up or got menanced with the threat of price fixing and are just quietly reimbursing. Though they've just creditted my account in the past when I've accidentally overpaid. Who the hell knows.

Motivating myself to go shopping. It's either that or the closet, and shopping is barely winning as less painful that going through the closet. Course, I have to do that when I get back. Maybe.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yikes, ita. I hope the fainting was a once time thing. Be safe. And, I'm with Trudy about having your doctor call if they have any cancellations.
