Important news update:

I now have wool tights. Envy me.

Also, I have no advice for ita, other than, christ, that sounds scary and I hope you're all right. Hope the neurologist helps. I think you should be pampered, but I can't offer any actual physical assistance, so I'm recommending you pamper yourself. Or at least lounge some.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Eh, with bluetooth, who needs the clapper anymore? Now, I should get X10, and be totally hooked up.

Judging from the still-tender spot on the back of my head, I did hit it, which means I did faint, since I don't remember it happening. The shoulder could just be a knot or something.

I have to highly recommed lying down. It's very therapeutic.

Wait, so Jesse -- you're not engaged to Mr. Buffet or anything? Did Mizrahi win in the battle of coolness in Jesse's week?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

::moves "fret about ita" to the top of the Worry List from now through November 10::

eta: Um, so about that basically full run of Eyes, any trade from up here you'd like? Music or video oddities? Vintage magazines? Some other form of distraction and pampering?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm not engaged to Mr. Buffett, but I do love him SO MUCH. Too bad he clearly still loves his late wife (he mentioned her as one of his heroes), and I'm sure he is very fond of his girlfriend of 30 years or whatever.

It suddenly occurs to me -- can one check one's own pupils?

I swear to god, this (and the DNA prolongation thing) is why my mother wants me hooked up. Pampered, looked after, picked up off the floor, fed regular meals, whatever.

JZ, don't fret about me! But feel free to send me a butler. That'd be cool.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I'm trying not to fret, but November 10th seems like an awfully long way away. Do you think they might be able to bump up the appointment given your fainting, ita?

You need that!

I made this appointment over two weeks ago, so I don't think so. In fact, the last time I tried to make a neurologist's appointment because I'd just fainted, the closest available one was so far away I didn't even bother.

You need that!

Word. I'm not going to say that there are people who don't need it, but, well, I just want to try it, for like a month or so. See how it feels.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm fretting anyway. Cause ita can't reach me from where she's lounging on her bed.

eeeeeks.

Lounge safely, ita!
