Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Still no relief, Sail?

Not as much as I'd like, Cindy. One eye looks like it's pretty much depuffified and my neck doesn't seem to itch as much, but I've been hitting the Benadryl pretty heavily over the weekend. I figure vacuuming today would help reduce some of the known problems (cat hair) that do upon occasion cause me problems and also possibly exacerbates the current problem. Tomorrow, I vacuum the furniture, too.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Poor Sail!

I finally broke down and vaccumed up the thick mat of dog/cat hair that had accumulated underneath our bed over the past few months. it has helped us breath a little better at night. I'm such a shitty housekeeper and it's only made worse by the fact that I'm a pet owner, too.

If it were up to her, she'd live on dairy products, fruit, goldfish crackers, and vanilla wafers.

Ah, I see your daughter and I have much in common....

Also, totally unrelatedly, Neil Gaiman's new book (Anansi Boys) kicks all kinds of ass. I've been reading it every free chance I've had since yesterday morning. And it woke me up this morning. No, literally. I fell asleep reading it last night, and it must have landed gracefully on the pillow next to the pillow my head was on. When I rolled over this morning and tugged at the book pillow (without opening my eyes -- it's a thing I do, weird, I know), I didn't know the book was on it, and it slid off the pillow and clonked me on the head.

Unrelatedly again, I have tomorrow off, and I don't know what to do with my day. I should clean the apartment. Odds that I *will* are slim.

Heh. Of course, vacuuming might make the allergies worse, at least for a minute!

And, umm, what's the Jared story? Why was he there?

Apparently he graduated with us! But I had no idea until we showed up and he was there.

Wanna borrow my daughter? She came over today and made me clean. We got a lot done by working together. Plus, quality bonding time over cleaning products!

I'm fairly sure that the promise of money, chocolate, and/or sex would fail to be powerful enough to get me to clean. I just have to wait until I've become disgusted with the filth, or until a random urge to clean hits me, OR -- most effective of all -- my mom comes over to visit.

I'm getting the pig!

I bet you'd clean for Batman.

Sorry about the continuing itchies, Sail.

I'm really worried that my half-assed allergy to cats has become a full-blown allergy. Which, all said and done, blows. I like cats, I want to be able to take care of my daughter's cats for her. I don't want to have to get rid of them. I just don't know. If this all doesn't settle down over the next week, I'm going to go in for allergy testing and find out for sure one way or the other. In the meantime, the Benadryl is slowly, but surely, kicking ass.

He could scare me enough to clean, that's for damn sure.
