Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Art Crawl!!!

Do those GHB detection things really exist?

Perhaps the Feminists will be more interesting next arc -- they've had somebody they thought was an ally proven to be an enemy and somebody they thought was an enemy proven to be an ally. We may get to know them better.

What is even happening?

Really, Cindy? Is that an "eh" to the episode as a whole?

I don't know. Well no, it's not to the whole episode at all. I was extremely engaged, during. I thought pacing of the very ending could have been better, and I have a few itches about timeline related stuff. I was really into it, for all the reasons people listed above, while I was watching it. Today? My reaction is more meh. I'm trying to sort out why, in my head.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I thought Veronica realized that Mercer's show was on and taking callers literally moments after speaking to him, and thus his radio show wasn't necessarily an alibi-- but I am a little confused still.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Was it "the Feminists" who were handing out the detection coasters? I thought it was Parker, who wasn't throwing eggs, and has been allowed to be a little bit more dimensional.

Art Crawl!!!

I thought she was doing it as part of a booth set up by Lilith House.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Was it "the Feminists" who were handing out the detection coasters? I thought it was Parker, who wasn't throwing eggs, and has been allowed to be a little bit more dimensional.

The confusion is that there were a couple organizations that the feminists were involved with. Take Back the Night was handing out coasters, and Parker was involved with them, as was Nish & Co. Lillith House seems to be a different organization -- basically, excuse the term, a sorority -- that shares a lot of members, but Parker wasn't one of them.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I think it was the Take Back the Night organization, and I don't know if they are synonymous with the Lilith House. I don't know that I buy Parker trucking much with Claire & Co. once finding out that she faked her rape. But I can see her supporting other similar organizations.

When I was watching the episode, I thought there was a technical snafu at the start of Mercer's recording, which raised VM's suspicions. For some reason I thought he was broadcasting from the party, which I will admit is fallible thinking.

I was totally a-skeered at the end.

I am REALLY confused, though, about the Logan alibi rape. So I guess it's either 1) that was one of the faked ones or 2) Moe stepped in. When was that particular incident, anyway?

I hope the next arc features MORE WEEVIL!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So I guess it's either 1) that was one of the faked ones

Yes. I had strongly assumed Nancy faked her rape all along since she was so vocal about it and the anti-Greek stuff, and she was connected to the Lilith folk. And when the fems were asked how many other rapes were faked, they didn't say anything, implying that Claire wasn't the only one.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I think I missed something. What was the plot twist?

Maybe "plot twist" is the wrong word. I meant that it was a surprise twist that Mercer had an accomplice. We were never led to believe that the rapes were perpetrated by more than one culprit. So when Moe (who was kind of fishy from the start -- to us, if not to Veronica) turned out to be the person Veronica ran into, it was a real a-ha! moment.

From what I understand, the rape for which Logan provided Mercer with the Mexico alibi happened during the summer -- that victim was Nancy. There were a couple of interpretations as to how that was possible. Either 1) Nancy was another one of the fake rapes, which seems likely as the feminists looked guilty when Veronica accused them of faking more than just Claire's rape, or 2) Nancy's was a real rape and Mercer ran a taped recording of the show during the crime, callers and all, which Veronica realized when Mercer's show was playing during the party despite the fact that Mercer was actually *at* the party.

But... he was in... Mexico... with Logan?

Also, I keep hearing the name Nancy, but who is she? Does she have any other attributes than "person who may or may not have been raped while Mercer was in Mexico?"
