Veronica's crying in the shower bit was very in character, too.
She's totally Buffy, y'all.
My wife said, "It's ok to feel, Buffy, just don't start singing."

I'm still curious what happened with the Dean at the Hotel (as I guess I should be) and then back to the admin office.
I realized afterward that we don't actually know what went down. He could have killed one or both of them, but I doubt that since they make great suspects.
And glad Veronica was at least marginally helpful to herself with teh stabbing and the hammer and stuff. Yay.
Dude, the girl doled out plenty of damage.

She breaks down alone. She doesn't want to show anyone the cracks.
I loved the episode. That is how you do a long mystery, with clues everywhere and red herrings and fakeouts and foreshadowing and all that good shit.
Also, just to respond to Tep's "1 dimension" complaint, I really liked that despite the eggings, the feminists were shown doing something really positive by distributing the GHB detection things.
That Mercer was involved wasn't much of a surprise, but I did like the way they used the continuity to the Prisoner/Guard experiment episode as a plot twist.
I think I missed something. What was the plot twist?
Didn't Logan say that Mercer was in Mexico with him during one of the rapes? Was that explained? Or was that during the fake rape?
Also -- That guy who tried to pick up Mac by commenting on her t-shirt? Anyone else reminded of The Foreign Guy on Family Guy this past Sunday ("It's funny because it's the opposite!")? OK, just me then.

I'm pretty sure that was the fake rape. (Or, wait. No. He was on the radio during Claire's "rape," wasn't it? In Mexico during a different one?)
(though sad that the cute moment of Weevil and Dean will be the only one!)
Much as I'm sad we'll probably not see any more "Weevil and Mars - they fight crime" scenes.

Maybe Moe wasn't so not involved in the actual rapes.

That's what I thought all along. He worked for the campus escort service, so he had a lot of opportunity to pick women for himself and Mercer.

Plus, I could totally see Mercer ordering Moe to give him an alibi. Except, of course, it got frelled up due to the disaster that was caused in Mexico.
Eh.
Really, Cindy? Is that an "eh" to the episode as a whole?

i've seen several people mention that they think the Dean was dreaming the hotel encounter and that the egging woke him up.

I really liked that. also liked the confrontation with Chip for distributing fake coasters.
