That was beautiful. I actually liked Piz a lot more in this episode. Maybe it was because he wasn't mooning over Veronica and was instead being cranky about Veronica bringing her life into his dormroom.
Why is Keith being coy about Kendall being dead? Wouldn't that be a matter of public record? Did I miss something about her body not being there?
Her body wasn't found. Other than the blood on the picture frame, there was no actual evidence of violence or murder in the cabin.
No clue why Keith didn't tell Vinnie she's dead, though, considering he did report her murder to the local authorities.
Also, did the Fitzpatrick who offed his brother take the pen?
He picked it up before he shot him, so I'm guessing so.

Hey, that's right.
Maybe the comment Veronica made earlier about Mercer possibly taping his show is the clue. Unless Piz ran to the studio right after Logan left -- or did we see Veronica in the cafeteria with Piz on the speakers before that?

I don't like this repeated hammering of "Veronica is a judgmental, untrusting shrew who will drive the people who love her away!" anvils and the after-school special-esque lessons via cases wherein Veronica learns to trust and be forgiving. I mean, the people who she loved *did* let her down and her massive trust issues are valid characterization points, so the complexities are there, yet I feel like the writing is going about this arc in a particularly graceless way. Bah.
