I liked the episode. Here is the very amusing explanation for the title, culled from a report of VM Bloggers Day on TWoP:
The title of that episode -- Versatile Toppings -- is actually a private joke between me and Dan Etheridge. He used the phrase 'negotiable top' or 'negotiable bottom' and I misheard him and kept using the phrase 'versatile top' or 'versatile bottom' so when we had a story that combined pizza delivery guys and outing gay students, it became 'Versatile Toppings'.
Okay, I was thinking car bomb too.
Well, SHOOT. Veronica Mars is "on the fence".
Um, it seems to have JUMPED THE FENCE EEEEEEE.
Thanks for the link, PC. That's great news.
I had to read through the link before I know whether that was a good EEEEEEE or a bad EEEEEEE.
(for those who are lazy, it's a good EEEEEEE)
Actually, it's a wrong EEEEE.
The article misinterpreted what happened. No official pickup, but still a good sign from the CW that they want it next year.
Umm, that link went nowhere for me.
that's because they realized they were wrongwrongwrong and pulled it before they looked even stupider than they already did.
Correct. The CW passed out materials to advertisers that basically had a proposed schedule, and
TV Week
misinterpreted them as official pickups. It's still good news for VM in that they're still on the schedule (of course, that was before they saw the ratings this week, which were better than they've been since the hiatus but not much of an improvement).
