Thanks for the link, PC. That's great news.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I had to read through the link before I know whether that was a good EEEEEEE or a bad EEEEEEE.

(for those who are lazy, it's a good EEEEEEE)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Actually, it's a wrong EEEEE.

The article misinterpreted what happened. No official pickup, but still a good sign from the CW that they want it next year.

Art Crawl!!!

Umm, that link went nowhere for me.

that's because they realized they were wrongwrongwrong and pulled it before they looked even stupider than they already did.

What is even happening?

So nothing happened?

Correct. The CW passed out materials to advertisers that basically had a proposed schedule, and TV Week misinterpreted them as official pickups. It's still good news for VM in that they're still on the schedule (of course, that was before they saw the ratings this week, which were better than they've been since the hiatus but not much of an improvement).

What were the ratings this week, P-C?

Despite ample lead-in support from America's Next Top Model, UPN's critically acclaimed Veronica Mars did not benefit, with a fifth-place 2.2/ 3 in the overnights, 2.76 million viewers and a 1.2/ 3 among adults 18-49 from 9-10 p.m. Retention for Veronica Mars out of Top Model was just 48 percent in the overnights, 57 percent in total viewers and 50 percent among adults 18-49.

Neptunesite lists the weekly ratings. "Versatile Toppings" got a 2.2/3, better than ANMMHE's 1.7/2, but with ANTM as a lead in, it should have done much better. Maybe there needed to be more promotion that it was a new episode, and next week's ratings will increase.

ETA: tiggy beat me to it.
