Keith was a lot more sympathetic towards Logan than he has been in the past, despite the fact that he actually caught Logan committing a crime.
It was pretty pity inducing. Keith ain't that cold.
The Leo thing was lame. I liked seeing him again, but not for the character to be trashed.

the Ivy song used during the Logan watching the tape scene is a recycle. it was used in episode 1x03, Meet John Smith, when V was driving a bleeding Donut to the hospital after his bleacher dive.
is RT trying to make a point? someone want to do a compare/contrast of those two scenes?
Can someone give me a synopsis? I didn't get it because of the weather, and I don't want to wait until Saturday- feel free to describe the Logan scenes in detail.
I won't bother with the jury story because it wasn't very interesting.
The tapes of Aaron and Lily were stolen from the police lockup. It was obviously an inside job. Logan emailed all the police people and purchased the tapes, watched them in a teary scene, then destroyed them. excuse me while I wipe my eyes Keith was hired by Woody to solve the case of the missing tapes. Keith was soft hearted with Logan.
And Wallace came back!!!
It seems odd that a couple times they implied that the case against Aaron was sunk without the tapes. Doesn't ring true to me. Hmmm.
well...they don't really have anything else to tie him to Lilly besides hearsay from witnesses.
the attempted murder charges will still hold though.
Well I suppose that's the only real evidence linking him to Lily's murder. Not so the Veronica kidnapping and attempted murder.

The worst part is that some day, somebody's going to stumble upon Twelve Angry Men on AMC and say "Dude! It's just like that Veronica Mars episode."

Yeah, I hated the rush at the end so much that I hope the whole Meg thing is a coverup for her abduction.

This episode was so disappointing for VM. Both of those plots had major problems I couldn't get past.
Why did Leo steal *all* the tapes, except for plot convenience? He didn't need them all to sell to the tabs, and the case against Aaron Echolls would be fine. He needed to because he didn't know at the time that he was going to sell them to Logan, so Logan could destroy them. @@ infinity. Annoying, since that was the argument I advanced in the middle of the episode to Bob to show that they *weren't* stolen for profit. And apparently if you have Downs you can't live a normal life without money. Stupid, stupid motivation.
And then the jury thing. I guess it's ok to convict people even if the evidence isn't convincing beyond a reasonable doubt? Based primarily on evidence acquired outside trial? That verdict will be overturned so fast Veronica's head will spin. In the real world, that case had JNOV written all over it.
