Lily is making cuddle motions in your direction, VW. She kinda has that spit-up smell at the moment, though.
Plei, I just went and bought a bunch of Lucy clothes on sale. The tops are totally not nursing-friendly, but I've decided I don't care. I just wear them anyway. It's so nice to finally dump some of the maternity wear and have something new to put on.
I did the same at Old Navy. Got a bunch of comfortable stuff on sale that kind of works if I fake it. (They have some great cami-tee combos that are almost as good as a nursing top.) The only thing that's keeping me from being content in what I've got and a handful of large tees is the formal wedding I'm going to in two weeks.
Nothing I own, and nothing that appears to be available in stores or online in a size I can wear, is suitable for that. I've been looking non-stop for two months now.
She kinda has that spit-up smell at the moment, though.
One reason smellovision will never catch on.
{{Jen}} So sorry this bit you in the ass. It well and truly sucks.
{{vw}} Wish I could be there.
I have a question. I have an interview tomorrow for a job at a law office. The interview is not with the office itself, but with someone who does the hiring for them. It is near 100 degree heat down here. So, I have 2 suits. First is a light purple Halston- pros are it's a nice skirted suit of recognizably good quality. cons- the skirt is slightly tight, and I'm not sure if it's noticable without the jacket, it has 2 small stains I'd have to remove tonight, and I'm not sure what shoes to wear with it- though my off white ones would probably do fine. Second is a white cropped pantsuit- pros- no stains and looks pretty sharp ironed, I have nice shoes that look like they were meant for the suit cons- cropped pants (above the ankle/below mid calf)
Job interviews in winter are easier. I have your more traditional wool pencil skirts and black or brown trousers, but they would be ridiculous in this weather.
The bust on the Avenue dress looks a little small. I wonder if you could get it in a larger size and move the tie.
ETA: What's your bust size Plei?
I would think for a law office, the skirt would be a better choice.
My therapist sent me home shortly after the session started today. I think I let myself get dehydrated. I was feeling shaky and couldn't concentrate. So I spent the day drinking water and resting. I'm feeling a bit better now.
Goth advice
Black.
Hee, I figured that part out. I am thinking of wearing a long black peasant skirt and a black lacy, corset style top that is beige underneath the lace. So what do I do about my hair and makeup? I have never been to a Goth club before. Actually I have very rarely been to any kind of club.
Days like this I really want to change my name to somethign simple and easy to spell like Smith or Jones or Doe. I called a store to see if an order was ready, they couldn't find and couldn't find it. Then they finally found it under Reese.
I have one of the above last names, and they still won't be able to find your order because there are too many people with the same name as you.
So, I asserted myself and told him he was going to submit this paperwork today or else. Guess who is now pending?
Go, vw!!!
Hi, Maidengurl!
Oh, the Bath and Body Works I was looking for was any of the Chocolate Fondue stuff on close out.
I'll take a look for you Plei. Good luck finding something for the wedding.
{{{ChiKat}}} Hoping it's a harmless cyst like everyone else.
{{{Lyra Jane}}} Sorry about the car trouble.
My ex-husband just came by to drop off some things of mine I finally have the space for. He casually mentioned that he's moving to a new place, too. Turns out he bought a condo.
{{{Jen}}} I'm sorry. That was a sucky thing for him to drop on you.
Zmayhem: CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried to find chocolate as dark as Karl Rove's heart. Do you like the onesie? I couldn't believe JZ could get that kind of detail with a bleach pen.
Note to self: first Los Angeles, then Seattle, with a stop in San Francisco to smooch Hec and JZ and any other Bay-istas in need of a smooching.
Right the fuck on! Kissarama with Jen! My wife can't object since she's already taking you on a date. (and was fretfully waiting beside her gmail for your reply like it was promdate too).
So what do I do about my hair and makeup? I have never been to a Goth club before. Actually I have very rarely been to any kind of club.
Dark eyes, dark lips. Do not attempt liquid eyeliner (or deliberate liquid eyeliner swirly designs) unless you've done such things before.
Some sort of pale shimmery eyeshadow, black eyeliner, and black mascara + dark red lipstick should work just fine.
