Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Susan, I'm so damn sorry. Punctuation to you and your family.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

-t, at this point I feel like my being there would be more of an added burden than a comfort at this point--that the everyday routines of existence are a big deal. I am so very glad we went in June, and that I had the gumption to say some things I've always wanted to say about how proud I am to have him for a father.

I'm sad that Annabel won't remember him, and sad that he won't get to read my first book, whenever it happens. And for some reason I'm very upset that he never got to go to Australia. He always wanted to, but somehow it just never happened. I hope there's really a heaven, and that there's some kind of true-Australia-that-lies-beyond there.

I think they've stopped the chemo. I didn't ask for a lot of details like that, but I'm thinking of calling Very Conservative Oldest Brother, since he's the one who lives close and probably has the most accurate perspective on what's going on.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Susan, so very sorry. I think calling your brother is a good idea. The more information you have, the easier any decision-making will be.

Take care of yourself and hug your daughter tight.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

at this point I feel like my being there would be more of an added burden than a comfort at this point--that the everyday routines of existence are a big deal. I am so very glad we went in June, and that I had the gumption to say some things I've always wanted to say about how proud I am to have him for a father.

Hold onto this feeling. It's so good that you had such a good visit so recently.

You'll be able to make Annabel know and love him through your memories. I can tell because everything you just said about Australia has me all teary and feeling like I know him a little bit.
