I'm coming down on the side of potatoes. They well may set off my food cravings harder and faster than anything short of donuts, but you can do so many yummy things with them, and they're good when served in more plain fashions, as well.

Is Lindt from Germany? Germans (in Germany) supposedly get the best coffee in the world. My mother has a friend who taught over there for years, and was sorely disappointed by the coffee, when she returned home. She has friends send it to her, sometimes. She gave us some, once. It was faboo.

Looks like Lindt is Swiss (originally, anyhow). I am trying to google chocolate from Germany. I love how I can pick words out in German: schokolade; extra feine Milch-Schoki; Milchschokolade; Alpenmilschschokolade.
Sarotti is the one I was thinking of. They used to make a bitter cream chocolate bar that was to die for.
