Me, I plan to spend a LOT of money today.
Some of it is for the bro's wedding (or I can tenuously connect it to needing it for the trip):
* stockings and other "foundation garments"
* shoooooooooz
* skirts/shorts/one of those intriguing wee things called "shrugs" that are like a dwarf cardigan (the dresses I plan to wear in VT are sleeveless, and Vermont weather, even in August, can get cool, especially at night)
And some of it is just plain self-indulgence:
* about a month's worth of comics
And practical shit:
* groceries
Just doing my part for the economy.
Am still sick. Have whinged sufficiently in LJ. Entertain me, please.
I'm fiddling with my iTunes playlists. NeoGlam is now up to two discs.
JZ and Emmett are out running errands (Emmett being lured by a stop at the local magic shop. And don't you wish you had a local magic shop?).
It's ridiculously gorgeous in San Francisco today. I am very sorry for everybody that doesn't live here today.
Tep, if you've got a second could you IM?

First I recommend you put on the CD I sent you. Very soothing and has healing powers too I'm sure.
We're meeting up with Emmett's godmother and godsister (the elder) tonight for tasty german food and then Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in IMAX.
Taunter.

The CD is awesome. I had ducked it when it first came, because my kids lose all my CDs. Scott and I were just looking at it the other night when I unducked it. So many good songs. It's out in the kitchen because that's where the Bose lives, but I think I will go get it.

What is German food, anyhow? I'm coming up all streu...strue...strud...pastry and sauerkraut (frig it), and possibly sausage.
Nuh uh, there are potatoes, too. Actually, stuff like schnitzel, which, iirc, is pork, made me rethink the cuisine of (some of) my foremothers. I was bitter about the potato salad, which delis are SO much better at, imo.
And I'm thinking it's "strudel" but do I look like Martha Stewarreich? Nsm.

Lots of potatoes, cooked many different ways. Many kinds of sausages. Sauerbraten. More potatoes.
Heh. x-posty with erika, who I just noticed has tagged *me*! Yay!
