nutters. i love that word.
So do I. I also enjoy wingnut and another one that gets occasional play around here but that I can't remember at the moment. No, wait - wackaloon - that's the one. (Whackaloon?)
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

This picture of Phil "Sideshow Bob" Spector in court (that's not a typo) prompted Hec to comment, "It is one of the great whackaloon hairdos of recorded history." It takes chutzpah to wear that hair in public; it takes something more than chutzpah to wear it to court when you're up on murder charges. That something being complete lunacy.
Is that where that came from? It's our? Hec's? That's so cool - I use that word all the time.
And if it's real, please tell me the people who handle these things looked at these loons and then told them this is an idiotic idea and to just sit the fuck down and think a bit before the next time they open their mouths.
This is pretty much my mantra these days. Not going so well, really.
Oh, I've heard other people not from here use it, too. I don't think it originated here. It just gets used, and when it does, I always remember how much I like it.
So it's back next week?
Man walks down the street with hair like that, you know he's not afraid of anything.

Heh. I wish I had the coinage. But I think it's widely used as JenP notes.
Zenkitty -
wasn't that Mal's line about the hat?
I assume he's pleading not guilty by reason of insanity, and that hair is material evidence?
Brenda- Wash's, actually.
