Marty, is it going to be on TV? I have the DVDs, so I don't know why I care, but I do. I guess I want "them" to see how WRONG they were, whoever they are.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I don't know if this has been covered or not, but:

"The PTC has asked the FCC to issue a notice of apparent liability against each Fox affiliate that aired the program."

Official complaint jobby.

"This is yet another prime example of why Congress needs to pass the Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act," said L. Brent Bozell, president of the PTC, in a press release, "because with the threat of higher fines for indecent content, millions of children could be spared from viewing sexually graphic shows like 'The Inside' because the consequences would hopefully cause Fox to think twice before airing such content."

Hurray!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Uh...I think those children could have been spared if their parents had taken them out of the fucking room once the "This program contains graphic content" warning came up.

No offense the Americans here, but - you guys crack me up! You have some real nutters amongst you.

"Either it's murder, or this library has a very strict overdue policy."

"The Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act"?! This is a joke, right? I mean, freedom of speech and all that.

And if it's real, please tell me the people who handle these things looked at these loons and then told them this is an idiotic idea and to just sit the fuck down and think a bit before the next time they open their mouths.

Didn't your government or your networks cut the hell out of Buffy and Angel, before they could air in UK, at least at certain hours?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

They aired it at 6pm, after the news here, so it did get cut, aye.

Channel 4 tried to air Angel at the same timeslot - the first episode was missing 1 and a half minutes of footage. Before the teaser started.

I'm not saying we're less batty. British people crack me up, too.

(And yes, that paste is real).

Um.

There isn't a government censor, but yes, the networks do self-censor. IIRC, there is also a unofficial "watershed" hour after which the rules are loosened.
