Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Speaking of fashion issues (and I can't believe there are people who don't wear white or flesh toned underwear under a gauzy white skirt!), there was a girl waiting for the train with me last night who was wearing a regular bra under a halter top. Um. She was cute, otherwise -- looked like a latina Drew Barrymore.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I've never really understood white pants/skirts anyway. I'm rather dogmatic in my "pants should be dark-ish colors", though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't believe there are people who don't wear white or flesh toned underwear under a gauzy white skirt!

It's still so obvious, though. Unless your flesh tone is the flesh tone, the lucky dog.

What is even happening?

Do not wear white panties under white clothing.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I have a pair of white, denim sailor pants. But they are very heavy and non-see-throughy. I still only wear white panties with them. When I wear them at all. They're not very practical.

Well, yeah, but you've got to do what you can. Assuming you insist on wearing gauzy white bottoms. And I've seen a range of skin-colored underpants, too -- it's not like Band-Aids.

Ditto. Although I have been know to wear pale pale pink panties under my white pants, too.

Thrive to spite them

The worst (which thank god I've only seen once) is wearing those boy shorts with words across the ass "Juicy", etc under the guazy skirts.

If you are a white skinned person, pale pink or the very light beige panties are the colors you wear under the non-opaque white pants and skirts.

Never white. Do you hear me, girls? Never white. You might as well wear green panties.

I spent years trying to find something that matched my skin tone. So I say "fuck it" and wear white bras under not-properly-opaque white stuff (which is just about all white shirts, sadly). It makes me wonder, though, why I can't just wear purple -- I guess it's just code for "I know I failed, but I TRIED, dammit."
