Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've seen a range of skin-colored underpants, too -- it's not like Band-Aids.

I spent years trying to find something that matched my skin tone. So I say "fuck it" and wear white bras under not-properly-opaque white stuff (which is just about all white shirts, sadly). It makes me wonder, though, why I can't just wear purple -- I guess it's just code for "I know I failed, but I TRIED, dammit."

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Never white. Do you hear me, girls? Never white. You might as well wear green panties.

But why not? If they match the skirt/pants, what's the problem?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

At least you're wearing all white, even if it's obviously two layers. Is how I see it.

God DAMN people, make me do my work!!

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

t feels residual remnants of embarrassment for the day, some five years ago, when I discovered that a certain pair of khakis that seemed sufficiently opaque to wear any ol' color of underwear based on the perfectly bright lighting in our bathroom somehow turned all see-through under the lighting at work.

No one said anything, and I pretty much hid in the office all day after I noticed. But I still blush thinking about it.

What is even happening?

Oh, where see-through-ish shirts are concerned, you'll just go crazy trying to find a bra that doesn't show through. I don't care what color a woman's skin is, where the top is concerned. There is no matching. White bras are completely acceptable under white shirts.

But under pants? No.

White panties show through much more loudly than pale pink or the light beige. I think I learned not to wear white panties under white pants, long long long before I learned the white-shoes season rules.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Sometimes, I just don't give a flying fuck if people know what color my undies are. Not at work, obviously, but going out?

Don't care.

She does not know "Chapeau."

Hat? I'm obviously missing something...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Pale pink is no closer to my skin tone than white is, and I'm a "white" person.
