Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

'Not Fade Away'

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

I often rat out my siblings to my mother. She always knows that something is up, so I fill in the blanks.

What is even happening?

As a result, I tend to tell them things a bit sparingly. She's worst case, and I'm all "sure, whatever."

Speaking of, how did your MRI turn out for something that might be nothing, or might be serious?

The family doesn't so much leave me out of the loop on purpose. They forget to tell me stuff. I do live away from them and hate the phone, but I email them all the time so it's not like they don't have an opportunity to tell me stuff.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fuck, thanks for reminding me -- I don't have the results. I need to re-pester all the doctors concerned. I'll call now, instead of hurling evil thoughts over my cube wall at the lip-smacker.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

In LJ, if you friended someone and they never friended you back, it's a pretty safe bet that they could give a shit, yes?

Aimee, or they forgot that they hadn't friended you already? (this is the sort of thing I would do... "dur, I could have sworn I did that")

Nah, pretty sure they just don't want to read my journal.

Which, fine. I'm pretty boring.

Just kinda pings my EVERYONE MUST LIKE ME button.

What it definitely means is that they don't read you on their /friends page. I read half as many again journals that are not on my friendslist, so it depends on them in specific, and how they use the system.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yeah, forgetting to tell is a whole 'nother thing. I know with stuff like pregnancy or biopsies or whatever, some folks can want to keep things close to the chest until they know what is happening and prepare themselves. I can understand not having the resources to deal with other folks, even other folks' good wishes at a time like that, so I try not to let my own desire to know EVERYTHING ABOUT EVERYONE make me too needy.

ita, as to your folks not telling you when you lived in the same freaking house, that's just craxy.

See, my default is everyone's lame like me and would forget. (I hate when that button gets pushed)
