[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Plus, it's such fun to say dinner party.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

OK, enough of Monday, let's move on to Tuesday already.

Word. Let's do right now, please?

Woke up at 2 a.m. to the sound of Z sobbing as he was looking through all of the emails of love & support from when his dad died. Didn't get back to sleep until 4. 2nd year in a row. Father's Day is not a good day around our house.

However, yay for cats and pre-birthdays!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Stop posting the word scorpions!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Apparently the board feels as strongly about it as I do.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Plus, it's such fun to say dinner party.

Hee. I agree.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My cousin was once held hostage on a toilet by a scorpion. He screamed until his mother came into the bathroom and shooed it away.

The status is NOT quo.

Oh Juliana-what a tough night.

To add insult to injury, the &%&$* secretary is not going to report my half hour as sick time (of which I have something like 70 unused days) but is instead docking my pay. I could scream.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Uhm, why can't that be sick time? I understand why it can't be vacation time, but sick time is basically an unscheduled absence, which is what you had this morning.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Ow. Headache. Ow. Sore legs from a weekend of gardeneing. Ow. Work ache from a suddenly scheduled meeting tomorrow with "interesting news". Ow.

I'm just gonna watch all the Bertie and Jeeves I can get my hands on, and pretend I'm a brainless nob with too much money and too many aunts, and Stephen Fry's around to fix everything for me.

Also, ow.
