[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Well, let's see if the temp agency has work for me today...

Gnargh.

The status is NOT quo.

OK, enough of Monday, let's move on to Tuesday already.

YES PLEASE.

ETA:

Kristin, think of it this way--you started your day early, early, with a shower and a bath, and then a long nap.

Hee! Okay, that's cute.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm at home today. The back decided to go out big-time late Friday. I'm up to walking without leaning on the nearest support. And have a doctor's appointment this afternoon.

Also, we got the call last night -- 2 Himalayan cats abandoned at a nearby pet boarder are ours! We're planning to pick them up tomorrow. Now to get Teddy used to the idea....

i'm okay with this because not only will moanday be over, but it will officially be the first day of summer and my birthday. though the latter does tend to suck. so maybe tuesday isn't such a great idea...

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Gronk. I am having my first ever dinner party today. Teacup Guy and I spent the last few days unpacking and shelving books, and tidying things up. I didn't get a wink of sleep last night, and I should start preparing things soon. Did I mention, gronk?

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

one day the amputee found not one but eleven scorpions holed up inside his prosthesis.

Screams forever.

Kristin, I've done the off instead of snooze thing before. I'm surprised I get my alarm clock to work for me as much as I do.

sj! A dinner party! I hope it goes well!

I might be overstating a bit. I am having Victor, thessaly, and a couple other friends over for dinner and The Inside watching. But, I am cooking dinner and my apartment is all pretty!

Our wings are not tired.

Part of the reason I never use alarms is that I don't trust them. The few times in life I have set them I still woke up before they went off because of same lack of trust.

la la la la la there are no such thing as scorpions la la la la la
