[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

This is not my week. Yesterday, down for the count with the stomach flu, or some such. Today, achy and headachy and, although I don't see how it could be catching, or even related in any way, psycho-kitty has been coughing up hairballs all evening. I should go to work tomorrow, to get things ready for the trip, but I just don't see that happening right now.
On the bright side, Lily is gorgeous and has a very photogenic family. Love the shot of the grandparents. And Blowfish, 'cause it's just too adorable.

Take it BACK! Diet Coke is our FRIEND!

Soda is bad for your teeth. For brain chemisty, it's just wonderful.
I brush my teeth! Soda is a very good friend when one does not drink coffee.
Ginger ale is my best friend today, so you have no arguement from me!
Off to clean up cat hairballs, then try to convince myself that I should sleep after lying on the couch watching videos and napping all day. Actually, that last bit doesn't sound too hard right about now.
Ok, I need to try to sleep. Long, early day tomorrow.
Whoa, BT. Have you met her?
I have. She seems nice enough. Quick rundown, she works in arbitration and mediation, and they first met professionally. She's been married before, and has kids ranging in age between 10 and 17. Not really much else to say. They've been spending a lot of time together, from what I can gather.
If its upsetting at times it might be helpful to remind yourself of the tendency of men past a certain age to be helpless without a woman to care for them.

Not upsetting. I worry about whether he's ready for another relationship (largely because I feel like I'm only just getting there myself), and I don't want him to fall into something else just because he's lonely. But I know M wouldn't have wanted him to be on his own for the rest of his life, and it's good to see him happy.
