No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Jilli, my boss (who came to our wedding and was enchanted by everyone at your table) was peeking over my shoulder just now and said, "Very graceful! And has she lost some weight?"

What is even happening?

Jilli, you're such a knockout. And that first shot of you? Your ensemble is so beautiful on you.

Hey, hair color peeps--

I'm not crazy about the color my hairdresser gave me. It's more of a medium brown (even though I said dark) and a little on the red side. Actually I like the color a lot, but I don't like it on me, right now. I wanted something cooler. She used permanent color. Can I do it over, myself in a couple of weeks? Should I wait longer? I don't want to fry my hair, but if it's this red now, once the sun hits it and my own color comes through some, it's going to be even warmer. I wanted a cool color.l

JZ, please thank your boss for me.

Wait a couple of weeks. Red tones fade easily.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Jilli is beautiful. So is JZ.

I'll post a picture of myself sometime next weekend, after my haircut has been touched up a bit. It's a variant of the bob I've been wearing for the past several years, but it's been razor-cut and shaped a little bit differently. The last haircut was only to get things going in the right direction before they're cut for real.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Oh, I wish I could cut my hair all short and sassy and have it look good. But mine is curly and unruly and misbehaves without something to weigh it down. Experimentation is only tolerated in the fall, once the humidity goes away. In the summer, the best I can hope for is to put goo in it and let it air dry.

I can play with color, though. (No more at home highlights. I've promised.) I don't know that I want to go redder, but I've thought of going darker brown. Or salon highlights?

Choices.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Lilty, *my* hair is curly and unruly and misbehaves without product in it, but I love summer *because* of what the humidity does to my hair. It makes it stay curly and not go flat and floppy.

No new pictures of me; I just posted some last week. That's plenty.

Yeah, as much as I hate the muggies, my hair has always loved them.

Everybody has gorgeous hair (JZ, I mean you). My hair looks icky and boring, but it's because I get so picky (no, really, this makes sense). I can't stand to have hair on my neck or ears. If I do, my head warms up too much and I get migraines. It's a silly thing, but means that my hair is almost always in a ponytail.
