Does anyone know if there's any truth to the rumor that chocolate can cure headaches? I've had one all day that neither ibuprofen nor caffeine can kill, and someone suggested chocolate. But to be honest, the thought of eating that--or anything really--doesn't do much for me at the moment.
Never thought I'd see the day when I'd be considering chocolate for purely medicinal purposes.
This is true...he has actually failed bunches.
Well, I don't really believe Bill Gates is really better than me, either.
Those are some extraordinarily patient cats.
I don't know. Chocolate is more likely to give me a headache than to cure one. Have you been drinking enough water? You might be a little dehydrated.
So dcp gave me the hook-up on a sooper sekrit medical writing position (pharmacology knowledge desired!) that hasn't been posted yet.
Problem is, it's in Kansas City. I don't know that I'm ready to relocate, especially when I have no idea how long I want to stay, but at the same time, I already feel so desperate since my original plan of staying here for a year seems to be getting foiled royally.
I submitted my stuff anyway. It won't matter if they decide I'm not good enough, and maybe I should go back and get my Ph.D., quitter!
Dude, K.C. Don't tease me.
Would there be wacky adventures?
vw, AmyLiz is wise. Money's a double edged sword because it can make life easier but it doesn't always make it better. Everyone I know who isn't really, really rich struggles with it. It's an ordinary fact of life. Don't paint yourself a financial failure. Most of the folks I know are just surviving and they don't consider that a failure.
Lyra Jane, that is somewhat reassuring. I do hope you find one of those easier, higher-paying position quickly and I hope it's a good fit for you.
Plei, insent. And I'm very upset withmyself for not finding a Reel Mom type situation here in town while Owen was wee. Now that we've reached toddlertown, it's the babysitter or Netflix.
