If you were sitting around wathing TV and smoking pot all day and night, yeah, your debt might be a reflection on you, but you are doing EXACTLY what you should be doing to make yourself financially sound.

Don't feel like a failure. I'm not -- and we're moving our kids hours away to live with Stephen's dad for a year until we can make up some ground financially. Money doesn't define you -- sometimes you have more and sometimes you have less, and sometimes it makes life super difficult, but it's all the other things that are valuable. Friends, for one. And you've got those by the boatload.
