Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Lily is such a little pretty!
Hec, this morning I went back to the music store and got the Polaris cd 'Songs from the Adventures of Pete and Pete'. I've determined it my new summer cd. Very happymaking.
Also, all of you are far too sweet. But I promise to update should the Adventures of Music Store Guy have any news.
(which also have such a great artistic quality, btw).
Ple is a fantastic photographer. You should've seen all her jaw dropping self-portraits. She has a crazy skill set.
Thanks Laura! I love that picture too, btw. Cracks. Me. Up.
Lilty, I seem to have missed important Music Store Guy news! I've barely been online (and have been skippy girl when I am). What's going on?
Kristin!! Yay for you!
Erin, I forgot to add earlier, but that is BULLSHIT.

Gimme, gimme indie rock!

I'm probably going to have to get that. Way back, I did make a mix tape of my favorite indie pop stuff and gave it one of my favorite titles for such a project: Skinny Arms.
So looks like I'm going to be an LAista as of August, unless something big changes. Weirdness. Starting to look at apartments today (not selling the CT house--my Gram needs it for now; plus, it will be worth a lot more in a few years once the gold course goes in down the street).

Wow. Sounds like something big already changed. This is hard stuff, Kristin. Wishing you large sturdy blocks of courage.
And selfishly, very happy to have you in California. Now I can get back to work on Teppy, Jen, SA, askye, Shrift ...
Damn, Kristin, that's so great.
I want that cape. Lilac or hot pink? Bearing in mind that I already have a purple cape (fleece, not wool) and a hot pink duster (linen).
Unpacking is so much more fun than packing. And now our fridge and pantry are full, we are so close to being civilized I can almost taste it.

Yep, gold courses do up the values in a 'hood
LAista! Wow. Can you disclose more of this coastal shift?

I saw him for a third time and happily daydreamed about it on the way home. Now I have David's smoochage prophecy to dream over (and do my best to fulfull).
Kristin, that's so exciting. I can't wait to move. As much as I love Maine and it'll always be "home", more signs pop up every day that it's time for me to move on. All the friends are practically married/pregnant/already moved away, I'm sick of my job and there doesn't seem to be a point in getting a new one when next spring I plan to go, and I feel homesick everytime I get home from a day in the city. It's scary, but fun to have a (however vague) goal in place.
Hec, it was fun- i went to the counter and asked the dude if he could order me a cd by a band called Polaris. He chuckled and led me over to the employee picks section and grabbed me the last one. Then he said "My picks section is naked now." I think it was a badge of honor for him.
