'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

For that matter, what's wrong with a nice fluffy quilt or an electric blanket?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Wait, Nikita isn't sailing about with her friends anymore? Will NO ONE think of the blind children?

Yeah, some guy showed up with Michael and dumped him on Nikita's boat or something. I'm guessing the author has broken up with Roy Dupuis but plans to remain enamored with Michael.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Guess who's back?

I actually cheered when I read this.

I seem to derive more pleasure from these snippets of astonishingly bad badfic (for a fandom with which I have the merest passing acquaintance) than I do from a lot of perfectly respectable fic in fandoms I like. They are invariably comedy gold.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The beautiful Dalmatian Islands are all jewels in the Adriatic, but the Island of Brac, which hosts the town of Bol called to Nikita the moment she heard of its existence.

"Nikita! Nikita! Come have lots of implausible sex on my shores!"

Although Bol was not a sleepy hick town, given its location an hour by boat from Split, and thus connected to the rest of Europe, it was still a set back holiday resort and thus Nikita thought that perhaps Michael would be able to rest easier at the house as he convalesced. With both feet planted firmly on terra firma, the man would feel better and the woman would be able to un-rabble the mystery that was Michael Samuelle.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Okay, so, I just thought "wait, is Samuelle really his last name?" So I googled "Michael Samuelle" and, um, the first result:

Make Michael Samuelle your personal servant! ... Most recent punishment: Angelus had Charlton Heston give Michael Samuelle a good spanking! ...

Okay, then.

given its location an hour by boat from Split, and thus connected to the rest of Europe,

And we all know there are no sleepy hick towns in Europe...

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Do they call them hick towns in Europe? What is Albanian for "hick"?
