Betsy, when I signed up here I didn't know it wasn't like the rest of fandom; I am Am-Chau when I sign fic formally, and amchau on lj. It's easy, and non-fandom-specific, which is a great boon when I keep switching fandoms.

For those who remember Martha Wilson's SGA/SG-1 crossover Retrograde (probably the best gen story posted in either fandom in the last year), she's posted a sequel, Recovery. Gen, but for grownups, and full of her trademark plotting, banter, and rock-solid characterizations. Highly recommended.
