Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Custom e-mail templates won't make themselves!

They won't? Uh-oh.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I am not working either.

Me neither. I spent all my energy on the algebra kids today (and honestly, don't put graphing-calculator problems on the homework when you know the students don't own them; put them on a different worksheet and let them do those problems in class BEFORE taking on the homework).

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I took a break from work to help my boss push two of his Morris Minors (old British cars that used to be very popular) into the building.

But before that I actually finished the work I was supposed to do, except for the testing.

OK, in case anyone can be made to feel better by laughing at stupid people hurting themselves: [link]

Two Star Wars fans are in a critical condition in hospital after apparently trying to make light sabres by filling fluorescent light tubes with petrol.

A man, aged 20, and a girl of 17 are believed to have been filming a mock duel when they poured fuel into two glass tubes and lit it.

OK, I suppose I shouldn't laugh if they are in critical condition... or is it OK to laugh at the stupid entirely separate from consideration of the severity of their injuries?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

A man, aged 20, and a girl of 17 are believed to have been filming a mock duel when they poured fuel into two glass tubes and lit it.

I feel bad that they're hurt, but at the same time I'm gobsmacked at the sheer 'what the hell were they thinking?' of it all.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think the severity of their injuries is probably directly proportional to the level of stupidity. Which is directly proportional to how funny it is. Which is indirectly proportional to the amount of sympathy they deserve. It's basic maths.
