Now hold on, I'm gonna press the right pedal harder. I expect us to accelerate.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oops, I beleive I have hugged Jesse. The Hugging Force is strong within me and I try to remember when I meet folks whether they are non-huggers, but I get all excited and fergit. I never patted someone's belly without an invitation, though, because, ew.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

no stranger ever laid a hand on my belly.

Try riding the LA subway at 30+ weeks. Small, older Hispanic woman would rub and rub and rub like I was a freaking crystal ball. But they were sweet, too.

hip deep in pie

I always want to pat pregnant bellies, but I always refrain. It's hard though.

Not too long ago, I ran into a former co-worker and spoke to her for at least five minutes before she mentioned she was pregnant. Then I looked down and there was a considerable bump. Whoops.

brillig

All the IT people I've ever known, when they find porn, copy it to the private tech servers then delete it. When stupid employees complain about missing files, a quiet email goes to them asking if they really want their complaint dealt with in a way that the bosses will find out about.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Here it would just get you fired. Knowing what to do about illegal porn isn't hard. Doing it is probably harder.

I'm not sure if you'd get fired for the legal stuff, but you should.

Our wings are not tired.

Tummy oogling never bothered me and I don't think it's considered rude.

Many people oogled, patted, and rubbed my belly. I must be approachable or something. It didn't bother me. One of my jock friends was all jealous because my abs were harder than his. Round and protruding, but hard as a rock. He patted in awe.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Reporters in the White House were told to move to a more secure location.

I always wonder when things like this happen -- why isn't the White House a "secure location?" I mean, we're spending billions of dollars on security anyway, why hasn't the White House just been turned into an above-ground bomb shelter already?
