Check with the dealership, you should have two. I have a 98 Windstar and I find it a very comfortable and useful vehicle. Alas, it ain't sexy, but it hauls alot of stuff and people when I need it to.

Robin! How funny that Jason's cousin was at Ellen just two days ago? Polgara got our tickets, probably from signing up A YEAR ago, not from re-signing up a few months ago. There are 30,000 people on the waiting list. Some people flew in from Sweden to see the taping. Wack. We got seated in the very last row, right in the middle, so it's doubtful that we'll show up in any crowd shots, but it was a lot of fun. Ellen is still such a cutiehead. Matt Dillon looks freakishly like Xander, and Betty White was very funny. And Il Divo did a song and were very cute and awesome, even though two looked like latino Kevin Bacon and latino Elijah Wood. Weird.

It wouldn't be until the weekend at the earliest, Kate, and that's only if I get my act together.

Oh, hey, I don't actually mean to put any pressure on you to get it done. (I'm at least three weeks behind on LJ myself, and don't foresee getting caught up anytime soon.) Just, you know, I'm looking forward to going through your list.

I know the corners trick with fitted sheets, but am not possessed of the dexterity involved to actually manage it myself.

I do the corners thing. Drives DH nuts because he just never thinks of it. I'm the designated fitted-sheet folder in our house.

And, well, the flat sheets and pillowcases, too. I like the flat hems to be straight and tidy, and I like the pillowcases folded in thirds, and then thirds again. It keeps the crease from being in the center when you put it on the pillow. And of course you put the clean ones at the bottom of the stack, and by the time you've used the ones on top, they're "pressed" and smooth.

And, actually, I do the towels, too. He folds them in half crosswise, then in quarters, etc. I fold them in half lengthwise, then in quarters, because I don't have to unfold them all the way and refold them lengthwise to hang them in the bathroom, and he never thinks of that.

But he's the superior knit-shirt folder. He doesn't even need one of those flip-flap things, and he gets the collar centered every time.

It's a partnership sorta deal.

I'm not saying I actually use a table and make them that nice, but that is definitely the perfect version of the method I learned from my parents.

I'm with Jesse. I've been doing it that way for years. I learned it from my mother.

We get Ellen at 10 am. Then another channel runs it in the afternoon.

Those aren't the sort of things my mother taught me. I have no doubt that she and whatever help we had at any time folded the sheets perfectly, because I'm appalled at the way mine look in comparison ... so I'm glad to know there's a way.

It'd be really nice if this migraine would clear up in time for me to be cogent on my 11 o'clock call.
