Holy shit, you're not kidding. That's disconcerting.
I laughed my ass off. Because, clearly not CQ, so the only question becomes, whodunnit? If it's a Buffista, poitns for funny; but if it's not a Buffista, then we get points, for being famous.

Gud, you big freak. That was hilarious!
Okay, maybe a little funny.
I thought it might be an April fool's joke. But it's not that funny.
If you go back to the front page, then go to the article, it looks like the Buffistas part of it is.
The actual page, no mention of b.org
(ETA, funnier than the LJ April Fool's jokes of the day.)
edited: I'm confused. IME, CQ is not the type of company/publisher to make April Fool's day jokes, and it looked like that came from them.
Was there a different link at some point?
That was awesome, and points to whoever did it.
(Though I missed the link to the April Fool-ed version. Anyone want to to repost?)
Oh, I think the LiveJournal "Update Journal" button switcheroo is really funny. (When you post an entry and hover your mouse over "Update Entry," the button jumps around the screen for a minute, and then when you click, it changesits text to "Processing Whining".)

Am I a freak, or is this headline slightly misleading?
Pope's Condition Worsening as World Prepares for Papacy's End
I mean, okay, online edition, everybody already knows about the topic, but you would think the NY Times would be a little clearer than that. Pope != papacy, right? I think the latter kind of outlives the former, by design, you know?
