If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.

Book ,'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Because books.

"Not just vampires!"

And he's so excited. God, I love Giles.

And Buffy with the lollipop.

"The earth is doomed."

::sniffle:: I miss my show.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And sweetly plump.
By which I mean not skeletal. You know, human.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I still can't figure what they wanted to do with Angel in the beginning.

The more I re-watch, the more different he seems early on.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Also? What the heck does "gimme the Spielberg" mean?

The filtery lights?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Not really. Her breasts still had a little baby fat, though, I think.

More Wonder Bra than baby fat, I think.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Giles is entirely too gleeful here.

"Maybe you could blow something up."

"The Earth is most definitely doomed."

Totally.

Probably. They often seemed oddly pointy.

The more I watch, the more different he seems early on.

Exactly. Here's he sly, cynical, lazy, almost a tease. Which does not fit with the Angel who was supposed to have fallen in love with her back in L.A. and followed her to Sunnydale to "help" her.

I hate that.

Ahhh, the cymbal beheading.

Cheesy kicker line though.

True, but cheesy in a Xander sort of way, I think.

ETA:3600!

(Is that a glee-worthy number?)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's interesting how much is exactly already in place, and how much is off in the pilot.

For one thing, NB and CC are completely comfortable in their roles, while everyone else is still feeling it out a little bit, even SMG.

And ASH's British gets stiffer from time to time with no discernible reason.
